BOB
LYONS During
his 20 years in mortgage banking, Bob managed the FHA claims and
servicing review contracts for HUD. He worked with FHA on many policy
initiatives relating to loss mitigation, foreclosure management and
claims. Some of these initiatives include updating the special
forbearance program, implementation of the pre-foreclosure sales
program, development of foreclosure timeframes, streamlining of
preservation and protection guidelines for FHA insured properties and
implementation of miscellaneous regulatory changes. Bob drafted and
assisted FHA with the current Single Family Claims Instruction
handbook, numerous mortgagee letters and regulatory changes. Bob
currently provides Lyons McCloskey clients with expert consulting
services on FHA loss mitigation, foreclosure and claims management
matters. Recent engagements have resulted in a number of significant
cost saving initiatives. He conducts client specific loss mitigation
and claims training as well as industry-wide programs sponsored by the
Mortgage Bankers Association of America.

McCLOSKEY During
his career at HUD, Joe held numerous positions of responsibility within
FHA. Most recently, Joe was the Director of the
Office of Single Family Asset Management. He was responsible
for
policies and procedures related to FHA mortgage servicing, loss
mitigation,
insurance claims, and the disposition of HUD-held single-family
properties. He was a member of the Senior Executive Service
in
the Federal Government. He has extensive experience in a
number
of areas at FHA, including previously serving as Acting Deputy
Assistant Secretary for Single Family Housing, and as a key
Departmental representative on HUD’s response to the Gulf Coast
disaster relief effort. While at HUD, Joe was committed to a
partnership between the public and private sector, and to encouraging
new directions in the Housing industry as a means to provide safe and
affordable housing for families across the country. Joe currently
provides Lyons McCloskey clients with expert consulting services on FHA
loss mitigation, foreclosure, and claims management matters. He
conducts client specific loss mitigation and claims training as well as
industry-wide programs. |
